| Ok, so it's been a long time since I've done anything with this. It's just it doesn't seem like I've had much to talk about. You think that I'd have tons of stuff to talk about considering that, since my last update, I went to prom, graduated high school, and got a job. But alas, it just hasn't been that way. lol
Since it's summer, I've found myself to have a little bit more time in the house alone. So I've been dressing up a bit each day. I've even gone out and bought some more things (I got the cutest skirt the other day ). I just got to be careful about hiding it all.
| So this computer virus that I've had since the beginning of December... it finally really got to me. I took the time over the weekend (and lack of ability to do anything else since I've been sick) and wiped and reinstalled everything on my computer. It didn't take as long as I thought, and now I'm virus free!!!!! lol | | |
| So the little soreness I felt in my throat over the weekend wasn't just nothing... I got a cold. And a pretty bad one too. I can't even speak. I've somehow still been going to school, so I'm not behind there. But I'm really thinking I should stay home tomorrow and rest. Rest is good. mmm.... rest.... | | |
| Today was a really busy day. I had an interview set up in Milwaukee for a scholarship to one of the colleges I'm thinking of attending. So I had to get up a little early and get ready. I really hate wearing a suit. It's not who I am...
Anyway, we got to the interview place many hours early. So I kinda walked around and looked at the campus life areas. There were a LOT of flyers for their Gay/Straight Allience group. I thought that was really cool. Would make me feel more comfortable if I went there.
So then my time came. I went into the interview room, answered a bunch of questions, came out, waiting many more hours, and then got some food at the dinner reception.
At the reception, they had live music. One of their music people brought his piano and was playing it. I went over and we got to talking. I told him about how I want to play in college, and he said that they are in real need of quality clarinet players. He was really cool.
After that, we left and came home. And here I am. So ya, pretty long day.
| I'm so nervous right now. I have an interview tomorrow set with one of the colleges I would like to attend. If all goes well, I could receive FULL TUITION! That would make my life so much easier... | | |
